Global Semiconductor Industry Updates
1. Nissan has canceled plans to build an electric vehicle battery factory in Kitakyushu, Japan.
2. Ford plans to lay off workers across Europe, and employees at two factories in Cologne, Germany, will hold a strike on Wednesday (May 14).

1. Xiaomi wins in a business defamation case! The court ruled that Juhokan Company must post a statement on the “Vidda Official Weibo” account’s top position for seven consecutive days and pay Xiaomi a compensation of 550,000 yuan.
2. Beijing Xinchi Semiconductor has released its high-performance chip—SoC D9 Max.
3. On the afternoon of May 16, a semiconductor industry forum titled "AI-Driven, The Future of Core Link" will be held on the 5th floor of the Beifang Building in Huaqiangbei, Shenzhen, jointly organized by Longwei Commercial Software and Xinchian Internet. 4. CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited) is expected to list on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on May 20, with an upper limit of 263 Hong Kong dollars per share.
