An analog signal refers to a continuously changing electrical signal. Analog circuit is the basis of electronic circuit, which mainly includes amplifier circuit, signal operation and processing circuit, oscillation circuit, modulation and demodulation circuit and power supply. Below are our common analog circuit questions and answers.

Slkor Hall element series products

1. What are intrinsic semiconductors and impurity semiconductors?

Answer: Pure semiconductors are intrinsic semiconductors, and they are generally medium-valent elements in the periodic table of elements. Impurity semiconductors are obtained by doping an impurity element with a higher or lower valence in a very small proportion in an intrinsic semiconductor.

2. Power amplifier requirements

Answer: a. The output power is as large as possible.

b. High efficiency

c. Small nonlinear distortion

d. Heat dissipation and protection of transistors

3. What is an N-type semiconductor? What is a P-type semiconductor? What happens when two semiconductors are fabricated together?

Answer: A semiconductor in which the majority of carriers are free electrons is called an N-type semiconductor. Conversely, semiconductors whose majority carriers are holes are called P-type semiconductors. A P-N junction is formed after a P-type semiconductor is joined to an N-type semiconductor.

4. What are the main uses of diodes?

Answer: rectification, detection, voltage regulation, etc.

5. Given a differential circuit, know its output voltages Y+ and Y, find the common mode component and differential mode component?

Answer: If the common mode component is Yc and the differential mode component is Yd, then the output is

Y+=Yc+Yd Y_=YC-Yd
