The SM05 features a 5V reverse working voltage (VRWM) and a minimum breakdown voltage (VBR min) of 6V, which precisely matches the interface levels commonly found in industrial control systems. Its core advantage lies in its extremely low clamping voltage (VC) of 9.8V, enabling it to efficiently discharge destructive ESD energy to ground, thus providing reliable protection for downstream microcontrollers, ADC/DAC converters, and communication chips. With a junction capacitance (CJ) of 300pF, the design not only offers effective protection but also ensures the integrity of medium-speed industrial data signals, preventing communication errors.


Electrostatic discharge (ESD) events are one of the leading causes of electronic device failure in industrial environments. Adding protective devices to critical data interfaces is essential, but improper selection may degrade signal quality or limit bandwidth. The Slkor SM05 is designed to address this challenge, balancing protection strength with signal transmission requirements:


Efficient Energy Discharge: The low clamping voltage (9.8V) combined with an optimized internal structure ensures rapid transfer of ESD energy (such as IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4, contact ±8kV/air ±15kV), safeguarding core ICs.

Signal Compatibility: The 300pF junction capacitance is ideal for industrial interfaces with moderate data transmission rates (below tens of Mbps), keeping signal attenuation within acceptable limits.

Industrial-grade Robustness: The SOT-23 package provides excellent mechanical strength and thermal performance, suitable for industrial environments with vibration and temperature fluctuations (operating temperature range: -55°C to +125°C).

Low Power Consumption: With a reverse leakage current (IR) of just 10µA, the device helps reduce system standby power consumption, meeting the green energy requirements for industrial equipment.
